DESCRIPTION:An online workshop on ‘Role of Toys in Child Development’ was organised for the students of Human Development department on 24th and 25th January 2022. Ms. Shivani Pethe and Mr. Rupesh Labde\, Project Assistant at IUCAA\, Pune were the resource persons for the workshop. The students received hands on experience in making toys by using simple\, inexpensive\, and easily available material. For these students who are the aspiring teachers\, the knowledge gained would be useful to make their teaching effective in future.

SUMMARY:National Voters Day
DESCRIPTION:Government of India celebrates January 25th every year as ‘National Voters’ Day’ to encourage the youth to actively participate in the election process\, exercise their voting rights and be responsible citizens. The Election Commission decided to launch a nationwide effort to identify all eligible voters completing 18 years of their age. On this occasion\, an online program was organized on 25th January 2022. Voter’s oath was given to the students during the program. The program was attended by enthusiastic students\, teaching and non-teaching staff. \n
