DESCRIPTION:SNDT College of Home Science\, Pune had organised a field visit for the  First Year Master’s students of CND specialisation of the Food Science and Nutrition Department on 25 th January 2025 to the 2nd Nutribolism Conference held at the Novotel Hotel\, Andheri East\, Mumbai. The conference aimed at exploring the latest advancements in nutrition\, metabolism\, hormones and their profound effect on health and well-being. Students got an opportunity to interact with and listen to the eminent speakers from across the country and gained a platform for professional growth. \n

SUMMARY:Pune Marathi Granthalay: State-Level Handwriting Competition
DESCRIPTION:On January 25\, 2025\, students from the Human Development Department (SY) volunteered at Pune Marathi Granthalay for a State-Level Handwriting Competition. The event\, attended by 900 participants ranging from children to senior citizens\, provided students with valuable experience in event coordination and teamwork. Divided into two groups\, the volunteers managed the upper and ground floors\, ensuring smooth execution of the competition\, which was conducted in two batches: one for school children and the other for adults. The students demonstrated excellent organizational skills\, assisting with registrations and adherence to guidelines. Feedback from participants and organizers was overwhelmingly positive\, with the latter commending the students' dedication and teamwork. The event was a meaningful learning experience\, fostering community engagement and intergenerational interactions. \n

SUMMARY:NSS Residential Camp
DESCRIPTION:The NSS Residential Camp for the academic year 2024-2025 was organized by SNDT College of Home Science\, Pune\, at Kedgaon\, Pune-Solapur Highway from 25thJanuary to 31st January 2025. The camp aimed to inculcate social responsibility\, leadership skills\, and a spirit of service among students. The week-long program included various activities focusing on community service\, skill development\, awareness programs\, and personality enhancement. The NSS Residential Camp successfully instilled a sense of social responsibility among students. Volunteers actively participated in street plays\, awareness programs\, and skill development activities\, making a positive impact on the village community. Youth developmentsessions provided insights into physical\, mental\, and career growth. The camp fostered teamwork and cultural engagement\, leaving students with enhanced leadership abilities and practical experience in social work.
