College of Commerce and Science for Women\, Mumbai arranged an online program to pay homage to Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on ‘Mahaparinirvan Din’ on 6th December 2021. Principal Dr. Deepak Deshpande former Registrar SNDT Women’s University was the guest speaker. Principal Dr. Rajendra Gurav was the chief guest for the program. Principal\, Dr. Muktaja Vikas\, Teaching and non-teaching staff of the college and students attended the program. \nएस.एन.डी.टी. कॉलेज ऑफ होम सायन्स\, पुणे येथे महापारीनिर्वाण दिनाचे आयोजन \n‘आंबेडकरांसारख्या प्रखर भारतीयत्वाने पछाडलेल्या नेतृत्वामुळेच अंधकारात चाचपडणारा भारतीय समाज प्रगत होऊ शकला’ : प्राचार्य डॉ. दिपक देशपांडे\nएस. एन. डी. टी. कॉलेज ऑफ होम सायन्स\, पुणे व एस. एन. डी. टी. कॉलेज ऑफ आर्ट्स आणि एस. सी. बी. कॉलेज ऑफ कॉमर्स आणि सायन्स फॉर वुमेन\, चर्चगेट\, मुंबई यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने ‘महापरीनिर्वाण दिनानिमित्त’ भारतरत्न डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांना अभिवादन करण्यासाठी ऑनलाईन कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. याप्रसंगी प्रमुख वक्ते प्राचार्य डॉ. दिपक देशपांडे\, प्रमुख पाहूणे प्राचार्य डॉ. राजेंद्र गुरव\, अध्यक्ष\, प्राचार्य डॉ. मुक्तजा विकास मठकरी\, प्राध्यापक\, शिक्षकेतर कर्मचारी\, विद्यार्थिनी उपस्थित होते. \n‘ज्ञानावरची निष्ठा निश्चितच सामाजिक चमत्कार घडवू शकते हे आंबेडकरांनी दाखऊन दिले’ असे प्रतिपादन प्राचार्य डॉ. मुक्तजा विकास मठकरी यांनी केले. ‘आंबेडकर हे एक अमर\, जागतिक व प्रेरणादायी नेतृत्व आहे’\, असे प्राचार्य डॉ. राजेंद्र गुरव यांनी नमूद केले. \nप्राचार्य डॉ. दिपक देशपांडे यांनी विषयाची मांडणी करताना ‘आंबेडकरांसारख्या प्रखर भारतीयत्वाने पछाडलेल्या नेतृत्वामुळेच केवळ अंधकारात चाचपडणारा भारतीय समाज प्रगत होऊ शकला’ हे नमूद करून जातीअंताच्या लढाईसाठी\, मानवता धर्माच्या जोपासनेसाठी व संविधान साक्षरता वाढविण्यासाठी सर्वांनी पुढे आले पाहिजे असे प्रतिपादन केले. डॉ. ललिता भगत यांनी कार्यक्रमाचे सूत्रसंचालन केले व आभार प्रदर्शनाने कार्यक्रमाची सांगता झाली.\nया कार्यक्रमात २२७ विद्यार्थिनी उपस्थित होत्या. \n  \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:SNDT College of Home Science and its alumni association organized an online International Webinar- ‘Food Science and Nutrition: Exploring New Horizons in Higher Education’ on 10th December 2021. Internationally placed alumni- Ms. Sunita Date (Tasmania)\, Ms. Sumedha Mulye (Auckland) and Ms. Tanvi Phadnis (Sydney) interacted with the final year B.Sc. and M.Sc. students. \nThe alumni guided the students regarding the problems and challenges faced in the path taken by them for higher education overseas. They narrated their success stories. Students participated in the webinar with lot of enthusiasm and were very curious about the procedure to be followed for applying to foreign Universities. The webinar was well received by the students.
