SNDT College of Home Science Pune chapter in collaboration with the Anusandhan trust’s Sathi (Support for Advocacy and Training to Health Initiative) participated in the World Breastfeeding Week activity. Students from department of Food Science and Nutrition actively participated in the meetings at community centres along with ArogyaSathi from Sathi. Students discussed the Benefits of breastfeeding to babies, Galactagogues, Healthy plate for lactating women, Complementary foods: Food square for babies aged 6 months and above with the help of informative posters. 22 students from M.Sc. Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics participated in this activity in the month of August 2023.
