A field trip cum workshop on screen printing and block printing was organised at ‘Screen – O – Make’ unit near Nanded City, Sinhagad Road, Pune for TY TSAD students on 28 January. Mr Vishwas Phadke, owner of the unit gave in-depth knowledge regarding the textile printing techniques. Experts at the unit taught students the method and technique of block printing in one and multicolours. Screen developing technique was also taught to them. Students printed their own samples using both the printing methods.
