National Science Day was celebrated on 28^th February 2022. A competition was organized for the students. Participants had to make original video of application of science in everyday life/ activities. There was a good response and participation for the competition. Anushka Sahasrabuddhe of FY BSc (ND) won the first prize for her entry “Application of Fingerprint Technology in Our Lives”.

An online lecture and presentation was also organized for students and teachers. The speaker, Smt Shraddha A Belambe spoke about the significance of National Science Day and prominent Indian scientists and their contribution to different spheres of science. Her session also included videos showing application of science in daily life.
