Voting awareness campaign was organised at SNDT College of Home Science, Pune on 18th November 2024. NSS PO Dr. Lalieetaa Bbhagat informed about the activities covered under voter’s awareness campaign. Mr. Dandekar from Art of Living Foundation interacted with the students and mentioned that ‘every vote matters. He explained the importance of voting and responsibility of voters. Prof. Sangita Shirode, Principal, SNDT College of Education mentioned that voting is fundamental duty of every citizen and students should be proactive in performing the same. Chairperson of the program, Dr. Ganesh Chavan, Principal SNDT College of Home Science, Pune in his address stated that every eligible citizen must vote By taking part, individuals fulfil their responsibilities as citizens and contribute to the development of a society that represents their goals and beliefs.
