National Nutrition Month

National Nutrition Month was celebrated throughout September 2023 in the community by students from SNDT College of Home Science Pune in collaboration with Tara Mobile Creches (TMC) and Nutrition Society of India Pune Chapter. Students from department of Food Science and Nutrition enthusiastically conducted ‘Nutrition education through play and entertainment’ in the day-care centres at construction sites in Pune adopted by TMC. 32 students from M.Sc. Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics participated in this activity.

On 2nd September 2023, ‘A Fun Nutrition Activity’ for pre-schoolers was organised in in association with Uprisers Preschool, Ravet, Pune. The children learnt about basics of Nutrition, Hygiene and Health from the students of M Sc CND.
