As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an activity of Videshi Kapdyanchi Holi was arranged on 14th August, 2022 with the aim of refusing foreign clothing and encouraging the use of only swadeshi Indian clothes. The students and staff marched from SNDT Campus to Savarkar Bhavan on Deccan Gymkhana, carrying Indian flags and singing patriotic songs. Some foreign clothes were burnt symbolically and a pledge- not to use foreign clothes was taken with and intention to promote Indian manufacturing industry which would boost up the Indian economy.
